5EVER
What happens when you blend the smooth vocals of a '90s boy band with the punchy energy of a mid-2000s pop-punk anthem? Boston's own 5ever is here to answer that question. With sugary guitar riffs, bubblegum hooks, and high-energy drums, 5ever crafts the soundtrack to driving with the windows down on a sun-soaked summer day. Their infectious sound has landed them onstage alongside New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, Youth Fountain, KennyHoopla, The Movielife, Like Pacific, Just Friends, Action/Adventure, Diva Bleach, and many more. 5ever is on a mission to put the POP back in pop-punk and is only getting started.. <5

RINGPOP
Formed in 2020, Ringpop!’s sound is a high energy and fun focused take on pop-punk and emo. They strive to defy genre labels and make music best described simply by their band name. Released in 2024, the band’s debut record
Friend Crush
sonically bookmarks their sound in a way they never have before. It contains 22 years of musical influence, shamelessly packed into 35 minutes. “Lyrically it was a way for me to be honest without actually saying anything out loud, it’s cathartic” reflects singer Jake Michne. “I set out to capture the feeling of growing up, falling in love, and dealing with pain in the most lighthearted, yet honest way.” The band takes influence from Hot Mulligan, The 1975, Neck Deep, Blink 182, Between You & Me, and Mom Jeans, to name a few. They’ve played over 50 independently booked shows across the Eastern half of the US and Canada. Highlights include Tough Luck Fest with headliner Young Culture (Boston, MA), The Worcester Palladium, Higher Ground (Burlington, VT), The Camel (Richmond, VA), and The Garage (Minneapolis, MN). Fulfilling their childhood dreams, the band is beyond thrilled to be taking the stage at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, D.C, and Long Beach, CA.

Baltimore, Maryland Dating Games: Online Speed Dating Event | Baltimore
Jun 17, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Baltimore
** FOR BALTIMORE, MARYLAND AREA SINGLES **
Get ready for a fun night at this revolutionary new event that's the best way to meet other singles in your area from the comfort of your own home on Zoom. Grab some snacks or even a cocktail and come try out the event that's being called, "A fun new twist on speed dating!". Let's face it, we're all tired of the endless swiping on dating apps and interacting with people who may or may not look like or be like the person they're portraying on the apps. A Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night is a much better way to meet someone because you actually get to interact with people on video (Zoom) before committing to a real life date. This is the safest and best way to meet someone!
Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be put into breakout rooms where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with the other singles in attendance. At the end of the event you'll be able to select people you'd like to stay in touch with (the matching works similar to traditional speed dating... we explain the matching in more detail below).
Find out why this event has been called, "The best way to meet quality singles in the modern age". No more endless swiping on dating apps!
WE DO THESE EVENTS EVERY MONTH OR SO AND WE SLIGHTLY CHANGE UP THE AGE RANGE FOR EACH EVENT. CHECK OUR UPCOMING SCHEDULE BELOW TO SEE THE AGE RANGES FOR EACH EVENT DATE. THE AGE RANGES ARE ONLY SUGGESTED MEANING THAT IF YOU'RE WITHIN A FEW YEARS OF THE AGE RANGE YOU'RE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

***********************************************
***********************************************
QUICK NOTE - WE WILL ALSO HAVE SOME SINGLES FROM A FEW OTHER NEARBY CITIES IN ATTENDANCE TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE A NICE BIG CROWD AND A MORE FUN EVENT BUT WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU MEET EVERYONE FROM YOUR CITY AND WE WILL HAVE PLENTY OF PEOPLE FROM YOUR CITY ATTENDING.
WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).
HOW THE MATCHING WORKS:
Similar to traditional speed dating, at the end of the event the host will explain how you can keep in contact with anyone that you are interested in seeing again. We allow people to match as "friends" so you can meet wingmen and/or wingwomen at this event and we also allow people to match with people as potential love interests whom they'd like to see again for future dates.
AN EMAIL WE RECENTLY RECEIVED:
I wanted to write to thank you for putting on such a a great event. I attended the speed dating game night last week and it was so much fun! I wanted a change up from the dating apps and this event hit was exactly what I hoped for. Your host was so nice and welcoming. I met a lot of people and everyone was really friendly. I am staying in touch with a few people from the event and actually set up a date for this upcoming weekend with one of the guys I met during the event. Once again, just want to thank you for holding such a quality event!
- Laura
WHAT KIND OF GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we might play is called Blank Slate. In Blank Slate the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw! Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question. It's so much fun!
Thousands of people have met at our events and we've witnessed countless relationships and friendships formed. In fact, because you really get to know people during the games, the chances of meeting someone at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night are much higher than online dating apps or traditional speed dating events.
MORE DETAILS:
* Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a group of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. It's so much fun!
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE EVENT:
"As a busy professional, I just don't have time to get out and meet people as much as I'd like so this event was like a Godsend for me. It was a refreshingly fantastic experience." - Jennifer S.
"What a fabulous concept. I met some great people and I started dating someone I met at the event." - Hannah M.
"That was an absolute blast!" - Jonathan T.
"The games are the perfect way to tell if you have chemistry with the other people." - Emma D.
WE ALSO HAVE DIFFERENT THEMED EVENTS FOR BALTIMORE SINGLES ON DIFFERENT DATES THAT YOU CAN CHECK OUT AT THIS LINK:
https://friendzyevents.com/calendar.html
:
WHY THIS EVENT WORKS!
For many years we organized in person traditional speed dating events. While waiting for everyone to show up, the host would do some icebreaker style games to "Kill time" until everyone arrived. We noticed something fascinating begin to happen. People got to know each other better and made more connections during the games than they did during the actual speed dating rounds! The games sparked so much conversation and laughs that we thought, "Wow, we should make an entire event like this!". And that is how our Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night events were born.
QUICK NOTE: THESE EVENTS WILL LIKELY SELL OUT BY EVENT TIME AND WE HAVE LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE AT EACH EVENT SO GRAB YOUR TICKET ASAP!
FAQ:
HOW MANY WILL BE PARTICIPATING?
We expect a total of about 25 people to attend each event.
IF I ATTENDED A PAST DATING GAMES ONLINE SPEED DATING GAME NIGHT, CAN I SIGN UP FOR THIS ONE?
Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like and meet more people!
HOW DO I JOIN THE EVENT?
After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a Zoom link with an invitation to join the event. We'll email you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
All you need is your computer or your smart phone or tablet (Computer or tablet is recommended over a phone)
HOW STRICT IS THE LISTED AGE RANGE?
The age range listed is a suggestion. If you're within a few of years older or younger than the listed age range, you're welcome to attend.
IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don't show up.

COLAB: Art and Music from Baltimore and Beyond - Gallery Talk | Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center
Jun 22, 2025 (UTC-5)ENDED
Baltimore
Welcome to the COLAB: Art and Music from Baltimore and Beyond! EXHIBITION CONCEPT: This exhibition will showcase works on loan from important collections of African-American art and artists. The Visual Art Curator has selected pieces that span a wide range of styles, subjects and mediums, creating this digital catalog to facilitate collaboration in the curatorial process with invited musicians and producers of music in various musical genres. Under the leadership of the Eubie Blake Cultural Center, and in collaboration with the Visual Art Curator and the Music Curator, music professionals and students of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University will review the COLAB digital exhibition catalog. They will respond to the works of art by selecting tracks from any musical genre that resonates with specific pieces; not necessarily choosing music from their own genre. Musical collaborators will also provide brief written commentaries on their music and art pairings, which will be integrated into the exhibition’s content by the curators. QR codes will link the selected works of art to an online playlist developed from the collaborators, offering a unique and diverse soundtrack for the exhibition. Additionally, narrated descriptions of the works, written by the Visual Art Curator, will be available for the visually impaired. Profiles on all the collaborators will also be a part of the exhibition content. Guests are encouraged to bring their own Bluetooth listening devices or borrow our POLK AUDIO headphones to fully experience exhibition’s soundtrack and the works of art. The intention of the exhibition is to foster a collaborative, interdisciplinary, art exhibition that engages the audience in the process of interpreting visual art through music.
