About workshop: What to expect: All attendees will have an opportunity to learn how to work with alcohol ink on yupo paper and create their own one of a kind collage art. This workshop you will be able to make TWO collage ornaments. Ornament 1. Make an iconic desert landscape with your own color choices (see some examples below) Ornament 2. Create your own design or follow my lead with some design choices. Check out my Instagram for inspiration and ideas for your own creation. What you get: TWO wood ornament blanks Scissors, hole punchers, painted yupo paper, decoupage glue, markers, basically everything to make your one of a kind art. NOTE: Resin finish will not be demonstrated. It takes 48 to 72 hours for the full curing process. All pieces will be finished with two layers of resin in my studio and will be ready for pick up in a week or so. You will be notified. Shipping is also available for extra $4. What to bring: Yourself and your smile. If you are messy, bring a T shirt that you don't mind getting a little paint on. The Padre Cup is an annual Marcos De Niza High School Alumni soccer game The Padre Cup is one of the oldest, if not the oldest played high school alumni soccer games in Arizona. Marcos de Niza Men’s Soccer has won 4 state titles, numerous regional and divisional player awards, and college scholarships. Thank you for continuing the tradition of giving your support to the current and future Padres. History Started in 2011 by Kevin Hoy (1980-84 MdN Varsity Soccer player) Annual Padre Cup Organizational Team includes Chris Esperti (1993-96 MdN Varsity Soccer player), Bobby Davis, MdN Boys Soccer Varsity Coach (2016 to present) and Sandy Allen, MdN Soccer Booster Treasurer (2016-present) Supported by the MdN Soccer Alumni Organization (tax-exempt EIN # 83-2361365) Participation Open to all MdN HS soccer alumni players 1980-2024 Participants are asked to donate to the Alumni Organization Donations are gratefully accepted from non-participating alumni, family and friends Proceeds All proceeds directly benefit the current MdN Men’s Soccer Program. The Padre Cup raises approximately $800 in donations per game and has raised over $10,000 since its inaugural event in 2011. Player Information The game is a full 90-minute (more participants = more rest) All players are divided into their decade group, lined up with every other player placed onto either the Brown or Gold team.
