Welcome to the Oktoberfest Findlay Team Beer Endurance event at Downtown Findlay, Findlay, OH 45840. This exciting competition will put your trust in your teammates to the test. The objective is simple: be the fastest group of four to finish a 16 oz. cup of Findlay Brewing Company Oktoberfest beer! Teams will consist of four participants, standing at arm's length from each other. Each member will receive a cup filled with the delicious 16 oz. beer. Once your team is ready, the GO signal will be given. Contestant number one will start by drinking quickly, then touch contestant number two, and so on until contestant number four finishes. The team with the fastest time will be crowned the winners of the day. Please note that this is a timed event, and only one team will compete at a time. Each team may only participate once. To compete, all participants must be 21 years of age or older and present at the designated event area at the assigned time. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your spot and entry fee. Join us on September 23, 2023, at Oktoberfest Findlay for the Oktoberfest Findlay Team Beer Endurance. Join the Ohio Brewery Running Series™ for an exciting 5k beer run at False Chord Brewing Co in Findlay on October 28th, 2023. Lace up your running shoes and get ready to enjoy a fun-filled day of running and great local beer. The race starts at 11am from the taproom and follows a scenic course through Findlay. Whether you prefer running, walking, or jogging, all levels are welcome to participate. After crossing the finish line, celebrate with a complimentary craft brew from False Chord Brewing Co. Participants will also receive a choice of a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, along with a chance to win exciting door prizes. The Ohio Brewery Running Series is committed to being active, having fun, and giving back to the local community. A portion of the event proceeds will support local nonprofits, including organizations like Keeping Kids Safe. Military personnel, veterans, and their companions are welcome to participate in the Restore 22 Military Bike Ride, a relaxed and enjoyable cycling experience. Led by Leo McCarthy, a former Army veteran and retired police chief, the guided 20-mile round trip tour on the Montour Trail offers a chance to discover Western Pennsylvania's scenic beauty. Beginning at Bugay Lane Trailhead in Findlay Township, the ride follows a crushed limestone path with gentle slopes and picturesque views. Along the way, cyclists will encounter shaded shelters, water stations, and various wildlife sightings. The excursion includes notable landmarks like the McDonald Viaduct and the Quicksilver golf course bridge. After the ride, participants can opt to join for lunch at the North Star Tiki Hut restaurant. Leo McCarthy, a decorated law enforcement officer with extensive experience, ensures a safe and enjoyable ride for all. Open to U.S. military veterans and their guests over 18 years old, riders of all skill levels are encouraged to bring their own bikes and safety gear. All participants must sign a waiver before the event. Schedule about two hours for the ride, excluding lunch.
