Join us for the latest in our popular author events at Esher Library with actor and comedian Jeffrey Holland alongside writer and broadcaster Robert Ross on Thursday 20th February 2025 at 2.30pm. Jeffrey Holland is an established actor and comedian and is perhaps best remembered for his appearances in 'Hi de hi' as Spike Dixon, 'You Rang M'Lord and 'Oh Doctor Beeching' as well as 'Russ Abbott's Madhouse'. Jeffrey has written his first book of memoirs 'The First Rule of Comedy: memories and moments' in collaboration with Britain's foremost comedy historian and broadcaster, Robert Ross and is published by The History Press in February 2025. Join Jeffrey and Robert for an afternoon of stories from his illustrious career and the comedy greats who inspired him including Stan Laurel to the comedy colleagues with whom he has worked.
