SheJumps presents the WILD SKILLS Junior Ski Patrol event at Sun Valley Resort in Ketchum, ID on March 10, 2024. The day camp offers girls aged 8-15 a chance to learn mountain safety and first aid alongside the experienced women of Sun Valley Ski Patrol. Participants will engage in a full-day camp experience, beginning with registration at River Run Lodge, River View Room, from 8:00 to 8:30 am. The day includes team-based activities focusing on various outdoor skills crucial for mountain safety. Stations cover topics such as first aid, mountain safety, gear caches, and avalanche basics & prevention, with surprises and games interspersed throughout. Lunch is provided, and the day concludes with certificates handed out at 3:00 pm. Intermediate to expert skiers & snowboarders are welcome, with lift tickets available for those in need. The story of sheep fills the pages of western Asia and European history. England and Spain were large producers in the middle ages and introduced the animals into the New World.
