SheJumps presents the WILD SKILLS Junior Ski Patrol event at Sun Valley Resort in Ketchum, ID on March 10, 2024. The day camp offers girls aged 8-15 a chance to learn mountain safety and first aid alongside the experienced women of Sun Valley Ski Patrol. Participants will engage in a full-day camp experience, beginning with registration at River Run Lodge, River View Room, from 8:00 to 8:30 am. The day includes team-based activities focusing on various outdoor skills crucial for mountain safety. Stations cover topics such as first aid, mountain safety, gear caches, and avalanche basics & prevention, with surprises and games interspersed throughout. Lunch is provided, and the day concludes with certificates handed out at 3:00 pm. Intermediate to expert skiers & snowboarders are welcome, with lift tickets available for those in need.
