After an international career in the oil industry, he‘retired’ to Norfolk and has devoted himself to the study of Norfolk and Norwich’s history and heritage. He is a freelance city tour guide and was also a trustee of the Norfolk & Norwich Heritage Trust (Dragon Hall) before it was passed on to the National Centre for Writing. He has completed post-graduate studies in Landscape History at UEA. Adrian is Chair of the Norfolk Polish Heritage Group which researches and archives stories of Polish immigration into Norfolk since World War II and has dual British/Polish nationality. Join us for a poetry event hosted by Jenny Knight, featuring trans and non-binary poets.Jenny Knight Jenny has hosted poetry events in Norwich for a few years, but recently she’s become obsessed with the colour green Ray Tardigrade Ray Tardigrade is a poet with a loud voice and big words. Whether or not those words make sense is another matter entirely Axea Martyn-Mae Axea Martyn-Mae (he/they) is a queer writer whose work explores a vast array of topics, ranging from the gothic to queerness; from friendship, to mental health. Based in East Anglia, the rural forests and beaches of their upbringing heavily influence their writing. Other interests of his include burlesque, theatre, solving puzzles and sewing. He posts his work on his Instagram - @axea.martynmae. Casey Garfield Casey Garfield is a poet, publisher and pal, returning to their beloved home to celebrate queer joy, tenderness, and pride. They are the author of the chapbooks ‘hi hello I love you my name is Casey Garfield’ (Ghost City Press) and ‘stories in which’ (Salo Press), and are currently working on being the happiest they’ve ever been. Taeside Taeside is a Norwich-based poet who fosters an unhealthy relationship with Pringles and speaking in the third person. She runs the event Last Poet Standing at Last Pub Standing, reads a lot, talks too much, and waves her hands around when things are exciting. Her poetry is about love, grief and gender. She thinks you're really cool, as it happens. CW: This show may contain a range of subjects which attendees may find distressing in a small space.
