This inaugural Canadian exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is a comprehensive retrospective of Impressionism, showcasing the movement's origins and its profound influence on two generations of avant-garde painters. The exhibition features works from the Dallas Museum of Art's extensive collection, including representative pieces by numerous artists such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Berthe Morisot, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, Piet Mondrian, and Edvard Munch.
