Come and discover fascinating facts about fungi and hear Alex describe tips and tricks for photographing the natural world yourself. As well as a formal presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions about the photographic techniques Alex uses and a discussion about what we can do to help biodiversity. They play essential roles in ecosystems, from decomposing organic matter to forming symbiotic relationships with plants. This mycelial network facilitates nutrient exchange, water transport and electrical communication creating a hidden lifeline of mutual support and resource sharing beneath our feet. The MelTONY Awards is our chance to kick back, have fun, and give a big shout-out to the amazing people who make our theatre group so special! It’s a night to celebrate all the hard work, talent, and passion that goes into our shows, with a little bit of glamour and a lot of laughs. We’ll be handing out awards to recognise everyone’s incredible contributions- whether you’re on stage, behind the scenes, or just helping out in your own way. After the awards, the real fun begins with tasty nibbles, music, and plenty of dancing! It’s the perfect mix of appreciation, laughter, and good times with great people. Any size group or party welcome. Our tables seat 8 – 10 so smaller groups may be sat together . Groups larger than 10 please let us know so we can arrange tables together for you. Actors will be moving around the tables and one may join your table during the meal. No actor will carry information or evidence on their person, in their clothing, bags or pockets.
