Zulu kids challenge is set up by age categories as follows 11-13yrs 3km with up to 24 obstacles starts at 12pm 8-10yrs 2km with up to 22 obstacles starts at 1pm 4-7yrs 1km with up to 18 obstacles starts at 2pm Distance and difficulty increases with age category. One parent can run alongside but CANNOT help. Kids can participate alone or as a team. The instructors will provide techniques/variations tailored to each student's current level to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged. What to bring for footwear? Latin Dance shoes are recommended, but not required. Any clean pair of shoes that is comfortable and not grippy on the floor will work. For newer dancers, we recommend wearing comfortable flats with a non-sticky sole that you can dance in for multiple hours (Fuego sneakers, Taygra sneakers, leather soled ballet flats, suede soled jazz shoes, and Toms are all great options). You may also choose to dance in socks if you do not yet have appropriate footwear. What to wear?
