The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission (NIHRC) is launching its new independent research report ‘The Environment, Human Rights and the Windsor Framework'. The event will take place on Tuesday 24 June, from 10.30am - 1.30pm at the Dublin Suite, Europa Hotel, Belfast. The event will be in-person and online. The report, written by Dr Ciara Brennan (Director, Environmental Justice Network Ireland), Dr Mary Dobbs (Associate Professor, Maynooth University), Alison Hough BL (Senior Lecturer, Technological University of the Shannon), Dr Orla Kelleher (Assistant Professor, Maynooth University), and Dr Lisa Claire Whitten (Research Fellow, Queen's University Belfast), examines the relationship between Article 2 of the Windsor Framework and environmental protections in Northern Ireland.
