Qian Gu Ma Song | Hohhot
May 21–Oct 6, 2024 (UTC+8)ENDED
Hohhot
Qian Gu Ma Song artistically embodies the "spirit of Mongolian horses" by telling the story of "I" - the son of a shepherd's growth. It reflects the great journey of the Mongolian nation in helping each other, forging ahead, and pursuing civilization and progress, sings the praises of the open, inclusive, and tenacious national spirit of the horse-riding nation, and displays the beautiful realm of harmonious coexistence and poetic living between people and horses, and people and grasslands.
The play brings together a hundred famous horses and a hundred knights. It makes comprehensive use of artistic elements such as national equestrianism, horseback acrobatics, horse dancing performances, Mongolian songs and dances, and integrates high-tech sound, light, and optical, and naked-eye 3D technology. In five parts, namely "The Divine Horse from Heaven", "Migration", "Home on Horseback", "Legend on Horseback", and "Free Horse", it vividly interprets the warmth of the bond between man and horse, the peace of the home on horseback, the magnificence of a hundred horses going to war, and the ultimate song of the horse through the ages.
