Stephen Martin, a local artist, painted acrylic portraits of nine people living in poverty in Sheffield, including himself. Each picture shows the person, something that depicts their economic reality, and something that represents the dreams and ambitions they would pursue if they were not held back by poverty and unjust systems. During 2024, the paintings toured the UK as part of the Let's End Poverty campaign. Everywhere they went, community arts events shared their stories, and built support for action to tackle UK poverty. The paintings are now returning to Sheffield. The workshop is suitable for beginner and intermediate writers also interested in tarot, whether you're looking for new ways to enhance your writing or interested in deepening an existing relationship with tarot.
