The purpose of the Velvet Babylon Revue is to raise money to for Bygone Theatre, a non-profit whose mission is to promote the growth of independent theatre in Toronto by producing historically accurate plays, educating audiences, and connecting with other historically-focused groups. The Revue is a way for Bygone Theatre to raise money to operate our multi-disciplinary art space, the Bridge, while providing great original programming and unique experiences for our audiences. The final twist is every night, at least one guest star reads the script for the first time on stage. Join us on Saturday the 21st of December for Lost in Translation Actually. Our biggest ever cast on stage at the same time and no one’s read the script before. Doors open at 5:30pm. Show starts at 6:00pm. To get the most enjoyment, we highly recommend you watch the film beforehand.
