We’ll employ improvisational games and play-based techniques,, get up on our feet for some “oops moment” practice, and connect to develop your own audience participation games to get your crowd laughing, leaning in and engaged. Tokyo-based electronic sound composer Ken Ikeda visits London to collaborate IRL with artist Shino Yanai, who explores the plasticity of sound and its power to create new or imagined memories in a new installation for Beaconsfield. This workshop is a rare opportunity to work with Ken and Shino in real life. They invite you to bring a favourite sound or instrument, and smart phone if you have one. The two-hour workshop will explore collaborative sound-making and the processing of sound materials. Limited capacity.
