Temple Lounge Presents: Benji The Light Lion Comedy Special with special musical guests The Legal Immigrants & Kyle Brown & The Human Condition LA-based comedian Benji the Light Lion has performed numerous shows at The Fourth Wall Comedy Cafe in Hollywood, The Comedy Chateau, Next Wave Comedy and The Upright Citizen's Brigade Annex and now returns to his native West Michigan on Wednesday, November 27th—the night before Thanksgiving—to film his first hour-long comedy special at the historic Temple Lounge in Spring Lake before a limited and intimate audience. Benji the Light Lion is a classically trained poet and both the former editor of the international arts review Fogged Clarity and a starting Division 1 college fullback. The Light Lion pushes the boundaries and conventions of traditional comedy by delivering sets chock-full of relatable athletic and artistic references, wit, weirdness and a whole lot of heart.
