To celebrate the launch of our new Breakin' Academy we are offering 2 weeks of taster sessions led by Bgirl Ambush. She will be bringing the Breakin foundations, and developing your child's skills and style, whilst improving their confidence to express in freestyle flows. Amber is a Red Bull Championship competitor and not only competes, but integrates her Bgirl skills to create inspiring and thought provoking theatre. So whichever direction your child wants to take their breakin, Bgirl AMber has the experience and skills to help your child get there! What will our Breakin classes look like? Amber will always start with a warm up. Expect to be doing floor work and basic acro drills to build the confidence, resillience and strength needed for building power moves further down the line. You will then be working on specific techniques, mixing top rock foot work with floorwork. Bgirl Ambush will be working with your children, with the help of her assistent Bboy Tom, on individual developement for battle and freestyle flow. The end of the session will always finish with a cypher, where dancers can exchange energy and skills in the circle to some absolute bangers! FAQs Where is the class? Homefield Primary School, Chesswood Road, Worthing - 4:30-5:30pm for school years 2-5 only St Andrews CofE High School, Worthing - 6-7pm for school years 6-11 only Is this a Drop off and Go class? Yes. You are kindly asked to enjoy your freedom whilst the session is on. We promise to contact you if we need you. My child can be shy, Can I sit and watch in the corner? No, in our experience, shy children tend to hide behind a grown up rather than get stuck in. We play plenty of interactive games to warm the group up and get the children into a comfortable, relaxed, but positively excited frame of mind. We always have an assistant available for less confident children, that need more support. Will I have to fill in a sign up form? Yes, but this is done online. After purchasing a ticket, with in 3-5 working days, you will be contacted by a member of our team via email, with the link to a parent portal. This will send you to our online sign up forms, for you to fill in information on your child's health and allergies, contact numbers and any other relevant details. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Accessible bus links There is lots of parking on the roads surrounding both school sites. What can I bring into the event? Water is necessary. You are responsible for any possessions they may bring, and so bring them at your own risk. What shall my child wear to the event? Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for exercise should be worn. No skirts/dresses/sandals/crocs/healed boots. No jewellery is allowed. Long Hair tied back.You may want to bring soft knee pads for dance. Can my older/younger children attend the session? No. We strictly work with in the age limits set for a class, to ensure the content is appropriate and enjoyed by all. Will my child be safe? There is always a first aider on site, and teachers are DBS checked with Chaperones licences and insurances in place. How can I contact the organiser with any questions? You can email Kerry at kerry@wannadostreetdance.com What if my child has any medical conditions or injuries? It is up to you to inform the teacher of any medical conditions they might have. If such information is not disclosed, it is a your own risk, and your sole responsibility should they participate. Please consult your GP for any advise, and If appropriate, a letter from your GP maybe required to join the class. This is an athletic masterclass, and we would advise any injured children not to participate. Can I pay by Cash? No, these tickets must be purchased online. Will my child have fun? Oh YEAH!

Line-up includes: Max Fulham Max has wowed audiences with his one man show, entertaining thousands of people in theatres across the UK and internationally. Highlights include appearing on ‘The Good Old Days’ at Leeds City Varieties, following in the footsteps of his variety heroes, and performing on the Blackpool Opera House stage as part of the world-famous Blackpool Magic Convention. Max has also had the unique pleasure of headlining at the prestigious Venthaven Ventriloquist Convention in the USA. Kyrah Gray South London born and raised, Kyrah began her comedy career in 2019 during her last year of University. Her rise on the comedy circuit has been impactful, securing impressive gigs at clubs up and down the country as well as supporting White Yardie on his most recent tour. Kyrah has a huge online presence and has performed for Comedy Central Live, starred in Netflix’s YouTube sketch What Would You Do? with Harry Pinero, and has her first arena performance under her belt with Mo Gilligan’s Black British Takeover at The O2. Mike Cox Mike has been performing comedy since 2011 and quickly made his mark on the comedy scene with his sharp witted observational style which saw him crowned South Coast Comedian of the Year in 2014 and the Not So New Comedian of the Year in 2022. Sean Gorman Since starting, Salisbury's Sean Gorman, now based in London, has quickly proven to have a bright future in stand up. Within the first couple of years he reached the finals of the Reading Fringe New Act, Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act and South Coast Comedian of The Year competitions. Displaying the stage presence of a more seasoned comedian, his deadpan delivery and self deprecating humour has the audience hanging on every word. Sean can be seen performing at some of the best and most famous comedy clubs on the UK circuit, including The Comedy Store, Downstairs At The Kings Head and The Stand Up Club, as well as many other clubs across the UK and Europe
