South Africa, Zimbabwe and England united on one stage with one job for the night, to put a smile on your face. Leave your troubles at the door and join us for what promises to be stand up at its most comedic. Mr Lorraine: Some choose their alter ego, as for Mr Lorraine it chose her. Mr Lorraine takes you on a journey of what life is like as woman with a ' man's' voice. accusations of fraud and being denied access to certain services are just some of the experiences Mr Lorraine has to battle daily. However in 2022 Mr Lorraine suffered a stroke so sounding like a is the least of her problems. Lorraine Chademunhu is comedian born in Zimbabwe who burst into the comedy scene in March 2017. She has performed at the sold out ‘Out Of Order’ TEDx Kingston Upon Thames 2018 and has wowed audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 and 2019. Lorraine hopes to continue performing around the UK or where anyone will have her. IG @mrlorraine1 Louis Pollick: is a pretty good comedian. He’s low energy and awkward, but he has a great smile. He’s told that his comedy is dry, but he’s not quite sure what that means. Louis gives the impression that he doesn’t know what he’s going to say next, and he doesn’t. IG @louispollick Martin Davis: years of acting experience behind him, he has appeared in BBC television productions and a variety of foreign adverts and has numerous private and corporate clients throughout the world. IG @realmartindaviscapetown Gareth Ball: brings a blend of interactive energy and a blast of “South African wonder” to stand up venues across London. When not on stage, Gareth can be found binging on box sets and avoiding selective train routes. Drawing from his South African heritage and experiences across the globe, he masterfully weaves tales that navigate the complexities of identity, relationships and parenthood. Maclarry’s charm lies in his light-hearted yet thought-provoking touch. Recognised as one to watch in the West End New Act of the Year comp in 2023 and currently in the Stand-Up Club's 2024 New Act Semi-Finals, Maclarry's star is on the rise. He’s honed his comedic voice on both the London and Cape Town circuits and has recently supported top South African comedians at UK fringe festivals. On Saturday morning, November 16th, Royal Park Golf Course will be making its booking sheets women-only for the first time, creating a safe space where women of all abilities and golf experience can come together to get out onto the course, whether for the first time or a regular meet up. Round of 9A regular round of golf. If this is your first time having a crack at the golf course, a round of 9 holes can be played in groups of up to four and will typically take approximately 2 hours to complete. The round of golf consists of a collection of different holes ranging in length of 140m to 385m. The Short CourseOnly available for this event, the Short Course is a tasting board of golf. Playing only 5 holes rather than the full 9, we expect this to take approximately 1 hour. Played across the holes 2 through 6, this is an opportunity to give a round of golf a go without the full time commitment. Beginners ClinicsThroughout the morning we will be running a few beginners clinics specifically aimed at women wishing to give golf a go but having never picked up a club before. These clinics are all about learning the game in a fun, friendly and easy going environment. A great opportunity to meet new people whilst learning the basic skills of golf.
