Renowned image alchemist, collector, and curator Stephen Ellcock explores depictions of these forces to reveal their profound significance to ancient philosophers, alchemists and astrologers, and modern artists, photographers and scientists alike in his new book Elements. Joining Stephen for a lively discussion exploring chaos, order and the five forces is special guest, artist, broadcaster, author, and art critic Matthew Collings. About: Heavy Traffic is a fiction magazine edited by Patrick McGraw and designed by Richard Turley. Artists Biographies Dean Kissick is a writer and the author of the former Spike column The Downward Spiral. He lives in London. Clive Martin is a journalist from London who has been working at Falmouth in various capacities since 2019. Central to his writing is the nature of subcultures and how they intersect with fashion. He has written for VICE, The Face, i-D Magazine, The Guardian, GQ Style, and more. Hannah Regel is a writer based in London. She has two published collections of poetry WHEN I WAS ALIVE and OLIVER REED (Montez Press, 2017 and 2020). OLIVER REED was listed as one of The White Review's books of the year 2020 and excerpted in Granta magazine. THE LAST SANE WOMAN is her debut novel. The manuscript was a recipient of the K Blundell Trust award. Sarah Thomas is a writer. Issy Wood is an American artist known for her paintings and pop music. She lives and works in London, England.
