Join Kansas City PBS for a screening and panel discussion featuring 'Leonardo Da Vinci', produced by Ken Burns. This film will tell the story of Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, best known as Leonardo da Vinci, a fifteenth century Italian polymath of soaring imagination and profound intellect, who left behind artistic works of staggering beauty and detailed sketches of futuristic contraptions of warfare and flight that today are marveled at for their technical ingenuity and foresight. The doors will open at 5pm and the film begins at 5:30pm. Free street parking is available, as well as garage parking for $14 or free for Nelson Atkins Musuem members. Persefone vorrebbe che la madre comprendesse l’importanza del rispetto per il pianeta. Ci sarà bisogno della tolleranza e dell’ascolto di ambo le parti perché Demetra diventi, infine e per davvero, la dea della Natura. Uno spettacolo intergenerazionale che attraversa una storia immortale con generi musicali contemporanei: pop, soul, eco-trap ed elettronica in una messa in scena originale, istrionica e brillante. “Se la mia Terra soffre, soffro anche io”.
