...plus a bonus festive item! Since its formation in 2017, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta have become a regular feature on the UK concert scene, giving up to 100 performances a year in some of the country’s most beautiful and prestigious venues. The ensemble comprises some of the most prodigious musical talent and performs exclusively with leading virtuoso soloists. The group performs under the artistic direction of its founder, concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith and focuses on the virtuoso concerto repertoire of the baroque, classical and early romantic periods.

About Raven Tower Raven Tower, on the grounds of the Grade II listed Hesleyside Hall in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, offers unique and imaginative holiday accommodation to the adventurous. Hidden from the public highway, with only glimpses of its fortified form as you follow the bend of the approaching road, it provides privacy and escapism to those wishing to explore this remote countryside. Wednesday lunchtime blues dance classes | Hexham

This is a 7 week course beginner blues dancing course. Blues dancing comes from the same tradition as blues music. Book here to try the first class for free, before deciding if you want to commit to the whole course. No previous dance experience needed. No partner needed. I'll keep the class small, so I can give lots of individual attention to students. The venue is a short walk from central Hexham, with space for parking (full details given when you book). Social dancing is fun, sociable and creative.I have years of experience of teaching dance, and is really excited to be teaching this class. The 7 week course will run on Wednesdays on the
6, 13, 20, 27 Nov, 4, 11 & 18 Dec Cost £60 for the course, £50 student price (try the first class for free before deciding to sign up)
The class is from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, with an optional half-hour practice time afterwards.

Hexham Life Drawing - The Ballerina | The Garden Coffee House

This session involves drawing a professional Ballerina (clothed) from life - all levels welcome (adults and sensible young people only). We will explore some short expressive poses, then move on to longer focused poses. ABOUT THE MODEL: Our model for this class is professional Ballerina, Rachel Armstrong, who is shown in the photo. Having graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Rachel now works as a freelance dancer and teaches classes in Northumberland. Rachel will be wearing traditional ballet clothing and posing in various ballet themed poses for us. This is not a taught class, but will be hosted by BAhons Fine Artist Megan Charlton.
Some materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own. This session is at The Garden Cafe, 20 Hallgate, Hexham, Northumberland. Drawing will begin at 18.05pm so please ensure you are on time, if you will be late, please let me know in advance as the door will be closed once we begin the session. There will be a range of drinks and snacks available from the venue, including hot drinks, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. SEATING OPTIONS Standard seats include a chair and table space to work at.
Sofa seats do not include a desk, but boards are available to borrow to rest your paper on. You will be sat on a low sofa rather than a chair.
Both options offer the same great view of the model. PRICING If cost is an issue, please don't hesitate to contact me.
REFUND POLICY A partial refund can be processed if given at least 48 hours notice. Please do let me know if you can't make It nearer the time though.
