The Joy Club- Children's summer activity week Adeyfield Free URC Church have started a new holiday club for 5-11 year olds with the support of Expressions Academy called The Joy Club ! It is a very rich nourishing drink used and revered in South America for thousands of years. This is sort of like hot chocolate but more bitter. Similar to dark chocolate in taste and contains many beneficial vitamins and minerals. We will be adding a little honey as well as some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg and it will be made with coconut milk. We will do a brief meditation while we slowly enjoy the drink and then go for a brief mindful walk on the site. Then we can take the time to talk, and catch up on how everybody is doing.
