The Women's 200 Intermediate Trail Skills [3hrs]: MTB Skills event in Paulls Valley will focus on honing foundational skills with more practice time on trails and features. Building upon the 'A Solid Base' clinic, participants will delve into topics such as refining the hinge, creating extra traction, increasing efficiency, developing more strength and power, and mastering braking zones. Specific topics covered include achieving balance through roll-overs, adding rotation for enhanced cornering, and executing bike lifts with control. The clinic aims to expand upon essential skills needed for mountain biking, emphasizing continuous improvement. Participants will learn how to apply these skills to various technical trail features and gain full control of their bikes. Attendance at the 'A Solid Base' clinic is mandatory prior to joining this event. The course is designed for adults but children aged 12-15 can join if accompanied by a ticket-holding parent.
