Welcome to BLOOM Creative Workshops, founded and facilitated by artist Daisy Embury. Join me for a cosy and creative experience at the Intro to Oil Paints, 1-Day Workshop in the beautiful Tipi at Elkstone Studios. During this workshop, you’ll work on a single painting, with a focus on skill-building through a gentle, mindful practice. The day is structured into sections, guiding you through each stage of your piece—from sketching to adding fine details. We’ll take two short breaks and one lunch break. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch, or treat yourself at the nearby Knead Bakery. All materials are provided. I've been oil painting since the age of 12, with my subject matter evolving as my curiosities do. For the past four years, I lived in New Zealand and Australia, traveling, completing a variety of oil painting commissions, and working as a Personalisation Artist for Louis Vuitton. Now back in the U.K., I’ve begun focusing on my own nature-inspired oil works and launched BLOOM Creative Workshops to share my skills and evoke joy through creativity.
