Emerging artist Vanessa Abron will unveil her captivating art collection at EOS House, 18148 Martin Ave, Homewood, IL 60430, on Thursday, November 21st, from 5-8 p.m. Born and raised in Chicago, Abron's artistic journey began in her youth, nurtured by a family immersed in music and creativity, and further cultivated during her studies at Dillard University in New Orleans. Though she explored various artistic outlets, Abron rediscovered her passion for painting during the pandemic. Abron's current work is a vibrant tapestry woven from her love for music, an exploration of color, and an expression of emotions. Her abstract pieces invite viewers to embark on a personal journey of interpretation and connection. Though shy as a child, I found solace and strength in creative outlets like the visual arts, which allowed my mind to slip into the realm of imagination, says Abron. “To showcase my work in a space that values and supports the creative process in a community that is also arts-driven is like a dream collaboration, and I’m looking forward to engaging with the community for this project.” “At EOS House, supporting and advocating for artists is one of our core values,” added Florence Hardy, founder and CEO of EOS House. “The arts are an essential part of our community and society overall, and creativity is necessary for us to continue to thrive.
