The Great Northern Classic Rodeo (GNCR) is proud to announce its 32nd year of bringing the thrilling sport of rodeo to the Northland. As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, the GNCR has been entertaining families and raising money for local clubs and charities since 1991. Originally hosted in Duluth, Minnesota, the rodeo moved to its current home at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds in Superior, Wisconsin, two years later. With over 4,500 spectators per performance, the GNCR has become a beloved event in the community. From action-packed fun for the whole family to supporting important causes, the rodeo offers something for everyone. The GNCR has donated to various organizations over the years, including North Country Ride, local 4-H clubs, Boys and Girls Clubs of Superior, and Horse Spirit.
