Just Play Horse Riding Hack | TrentValley Equestrian Centre LLP

Open to All University of Nottingham Students (who aren't a member of the equestrian club) to come try horse riding with the Just Play programme! For only £14, you'll get a hack with an instructor to safely guide you, along with your hat and TRAVEL INCLUDED from University Park. You don't need ot have been on a horse before, all abilities and experiences are welcome and encouraged! Bring your friends for a post-exams fun afternoon, or a well-needed revision break and get out of your comfort zone! On the day: Transport: 1pm Collection from David Ross Sports Village 2.30-3.30pm Hack at Trent Valley Equestrain Centre with instructor 3.45pm leave Trent Valley, arrive back at University Park between 4.30-5pm. What to Wear: Please wear boots - e.g wellington boots/ winter boots/ walking boot/ boots that have a wedge so they sit firmly in the stirrups. If you don't have any boots suitable, please email louise.smith2@nottingham.ac.uk Please wear clothes you are comfortable to move in and weather appropriate. Legs and shoulders need to be COVERED. You'll be supplied a mandatory hat for your safety You'll be requred to fill in an insurance form and provide an emergency contact at the centre. You will be asked to enter your height and weight - this data will be kept in the strictest confidence and is only given to the equestrain centre to match you to a horse. In the interest of horse welfare, riders must be matched to a horse that is a suitable size and strength and will be deleted immediately after the event. Each centimeter of this remarkable installation represents 5km of the moon's surface, providing a unique and detailed perspective. The Museum of the Moon will be showcased in various indoor and outdoor settings, offering diverse experiences and interpretations of the artwork. As it travels between locations, it will collect new musical compositions, personal anecdotes, and the latest moon science developments, enriching its storytelling. Renowned composer Dan Jones has crafted an immersive surround sound composition to complement the visual spectacle. Space Craft ‘Let’s Make A Moon’Saturday 19th OctoberUsing a variety of craft materials, we will make a moon face to take home, hear a moon story and have the chance to handle space rocks (meteorites). To enter the Museum of the Moon in the Minster, you will need to buy separate tickets. Craft Sessions: 10.15 – 11.1511.30 – 12.30Price: £7 per child All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult over 18 at all times, max 3 children to one adult please. Sessions take place in the Archbishop’s Palace, next door to the Minster and last up to one hour. Suitable for anyone who enjoys crafting – no upper age limit – but we are aiming at the 5-11 age group. Little ones will need help from their adults. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult over the age of 18 at all times, max 1 adult to 3 children please. The Archbishop’s Palace is located, next door to the Minster and workshops will take place upstairs. Please leave buggies and prams downstairs. Toilets are on ground level. Sessions last up to one hour and they are suitable for anyone who enjoys crafting – there’s no upper or lower age limit – but we are aiming it at the 5-11 age group. Little ones will need help from their adults. Babies and toddlers can participate if they are booked and paid for. Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can start promptly. If you would like to visit the Museum of the Moon inside the Minster, you’ll need to book tickets separately. This event is organised by Southwell Minster Education Department.
