Delve into the world of zines (aka mini, DIY magazine), explore collage and create your own. Messy, personal, lighthearted, factual - zines and collages can be whatever you want them to be! We will show you multiple ways to fold or bind your zines, provide examples and ideas, and support you in creating whatever you can think of. All materials will be provided but we encourage people to bring extra scissors, old magazines, photos, junk mail, & anything extra or specific you might want to use and don't mind chopping up. No experience necessary, all skill levels welcome. Tickets for the workshop are available as Concessions, Standard, and Supporter - we want our workshops to be accessible and affordable to most, but if you can afford to pay more please do so we can cover our costs and keep this project going! We are back at the incredible Radical Roasters! We will be using their cafe space after hours but a small selection of hot drinks and snacks will be available.
