We will share a reading (and singing!) of Kerry Westell's new musical under the direction of Mitchell Cushman with musical direction and piano accompaniment by James Smith, featuring six powerhouse performers: Aidan Desalaiz, Julian De Zotti, Izzy Eryavec, Carolyn Fe , Tracy Michailidis and Amaka Umeh, with stage management by Annasofie Jakobsen. This is the culmination of an intensive ten day workshop and we'd love your feedback. Doors open at 6:30 for a 7 pm showtime. Please enter through the East doors at the Big K or West doors at Kearney High School. Outside of the main gym there will be check-in tables for the morning of camp and before the game. You will need to check your child in before camp and then re-check them in for the game. Day camp is from 9-11am, with registration beginning at 8:30am. Campers will learn a halftime performance, play games, and be taught different dance moves/technique during the duration of camp. Please pick your child up promplty at 11am from daytime session at the main gym of Kearney High School. Campers will need to return to Kearney High School between 2-2:30 pm to sit together with the Dance Catz during the first half of the KHS Girls Varsity Basketball game (game time-2:30pm). This will be followed by their halftime performance showcasing the routine they learned the morning of camp. Please bring your child back to the game in their camp tshirt, tattoo applied to face, and ready to perform. They will receive poms at the game! *All campers will be required to have a check out ticket presented to registration staff in order to check their child out of camp. This will be handed out at registration. ***It is highly encouraged to PRE-PURCHASE game entry tickets when registering your child online for camp to avoid long lines the day of the game.
