ATTENZIONE: per garantire l'accesso agli eventi a un pubblico più ampio e diversificato possibile, è consentita la partecipazione amassimo 2 concerti per persona, escluso il concerto di dicembre. La Fondazione Vittorio Polli ed Anna Maria Stoppani presenta la Stagione 2024, una rassegna di 9 concerti che ripercorrono il ciclo delle nove sinfonie di Beethoven. Si tratta del primo ciclo di eventi musicali promossi dalla Biblioteca Victor de Sabata e Aldo Ceccato, inaugurata nel dicembre scorso presso palazzo Polli Stoppani a Bergamo. Il programma prevede un calendario di appuntamenti, a cadenza mensile, il lunedì pomeriggio, durante i quali i partecipanti potranno assistere, di volta in volta, a un concerto dal vivo e alla proiezione di un filmato storico. I filmati mostreranno le sinfonie eseguite durante il Festival Musicale Bergamo Brescia al Teatro Donizetti nel 1989 dall’Orchestra Filarmonica di Bergen, diretta da Aldo Ceccato. Seguirà una breve pausa e un concerto dal vivo della stessa sinfonia.

OPEN LECTURE: Jose Chavarria Date: Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 - 6pm Location: CIID, Via Astino, 16 - 24129 Bergamo BG, Italy Jose Chavarria is an Interaction Designer and Creative Technologist with a background in Industrial Design Engineering. He's a CIID alumni and has been working in the Interaction Design field since 2015. Jose started as an Interaction Engineer and later became an R&D Lead at a design studio in San Jose, Costa Rica where he created interactive art installations. He then joined CIID as resident faculty, managing the digital fabrication lab and mentoring students. After that, he worked as a Creative Technologist and Strategist for an architecture firm, designing AR and VR solutions, digital products, and interactive installations. Jose's work has been recognised by the Core77 Design Awards in 2021 for Speculative Design and Costa Rica Design Week in 2022 for Interactive Design. Passionate about human perception and Life-Centred Design, Jose aims to create technology solutions that benefit all forms of life, not just humans. .......... He was the co-founder of the Berlin-based studio for spatial, media-related design The Product. In his work he is concerned with the interaction between humans and technology and the relationship between the conceptual, the virtual, the immaterial, and the physical. His works frequently take the form of installations in public spaces, physical interfaces, and generative systems. With great interest he is researching the communicative, playful, narrative, and critical qualities of new and digital media. He strongly believes that technology must be something warm and emotional. His work has been exhibited internationally and has received various renown awards. ..........
