He released albums on the London based record label Kit Records (Plage Arrière), the mancunian record label Sferic (Hotel Nota), and Jan Jelinek’s own imprint Faitiche (Living Room), transforming the layering of different times into a free-flowing pulse that sounds both nostalgic and mysteriously ahistorical. LTD Time is the new sound collective featuring noted Portland performers Allie Hankins on tape manipulation, Shao Way Wu on acoustic bass, and John Niekrasz on percussion. Recently, they have been experimenting with gestural control and working with immersive, multi-channel sound systems as ways to connect their work more intimately with their body and audience. Their work has been showcased at places such as Oregon Center for Contemporary Art, PNCA, Portland Art Museum as well as many other community spaces.
