Join us for the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening, painting plants with lovely people and some drinks & nibbles in Abbotsford Convent Hosted by Holy Grail Plants and instructed by Kane Wray, the evening suits people just starting out with painting all the way to experienced painters just looking for a coached session in a professional setting. -Class collects at Holy Grail Plants at 6pm for a brief introduction and theory session to get you started with the all the basics to create the artwork you envision. -Next we will have a brief botanical sketching session to warm you up for painting. -Then classmates will prepare their 40x30cm canvas for painting -We will break for half an hour at 7:30 for canvases to dry -At 8 you will get all the coaching and instruction you need to mix paints and create beautiful artwork until we pack up at 9:30 *Some lovely drinks & nibbles are provided gratis with the event, but attendees may choose to preorder a dinner from Cam's in the half an hour break if they choose. ** Drawing is Graphite on Paper & Painting is Acrylic on Canvas ***We will provide some protective garments but please be advised paint may still get on clothing, so dress with that in mind.
