The city of Brum-Leigh, located in Birmingham, recently made a significant investment using council tax payers' money. They created a large Cactus Farm in Cannock, which seemed like a promising endeavor. However, things took a turn for the worse, and the Senior Finance Auditor (SFA) of the Council, David Hope-Lesse, found himself in a dire situation. The city was facing financial difficulties, and people started to blame him for their financial woes. At the brink of despair, David was presented with a potential solution to alleviate the stress caused by government budget cuts and risky investments. Businessman Freddie Forsyth Smith, commonly known as FFS, offered him a way out. But is this solution truly as good as it seems? Danger looms, and David seeks support from his friend, actress Dame Jenny Trench-Foote, known for her role as Fanny Allover in the seventies' Bond film. Together, they strive to save the city, their reputations, and themselves. As the city's residents lay blame, shame, and even naming him, David's fate hangs in the balance. Will he succumb to the pressures and throw himself from the heights of Brum-Leigh Towers?
