CODA Museum is hosting the new concert series, CODA Classique, from November 2023 to February 2024. This series promises to be an inspiring and surprising fusion of art, poetry, and classical music. Each Thursday evening in November, December, January, and February, talented soloists and ensembles will perform at CODA Museum in Apeldoorn. The opening concert on November 23, 2023, features the Calefax Reed Quintet, who drew inspiration from the Craft! Now exhibition. This exhibition explores the significance of craftsmanship in contemporary art and runs from November 19, 2023, to April 14, 2024. On December 21, the Simeonkwartet will perform Canto Ostinato, accompanied by the artwork of Marjolijn van den Assem. The exhibition "Vindplaats" invites visitors to reflect on Nietzsche's philosophy and the power of stillness in landscapes. Pianists Cathelijne Maat and Jacobus den Herder will captivate the audience on January 18, 2024, with their performance inspired by the works of four poets. This concert serves as a prelude to the Week van de Poëzie (Week of Poetry) from January 25 to 31, 2024. Finally, on February 29, 2024, the Trio Vincent Lesage will conclude the concert series with music by Vaughan Williams and Beethoven, complemented by Lesage's recitation of poems.
