The 24 Experiment - San Diego 2023 is an extraordinary theater production project that brings together talented individuals who possess both skill and daring. This unique event, held at the Point Loma Playhouse in San Diego, challenges teams of risk-taking writers, creative directors, and dedicated actors to create and perform six original plays within the span of just 24 hours. The intense process begins on Friday at 9 pm, when writers immerse themselves in their craft until 1 am. On Saturday, actors and directors rehearse tirelessly from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. The result of this high-energy endeavor is a series of captivating plays that are then showcased in front of a live audience. Audience members have the opportunity to nominate and recognize the best performances through awards. The 24 Experiment - San Diego 2023 welcomes actors, writers, and directors aged 18 and over, regardless of prior experience. There are limited spots available, with the first 24 actors, 24 writers (including remote participation), and 6 directors securing their places. Each participant can register in only one category with a registration fee of $24. Please note that due to casting and writing, actors may be assigned roles written for either gender. Old Point Loma Lighthouse
