A fun and invigorating sport where you and your dog run together as a team, connected. Join our taster session to discover canicross, for beginners and runners alike. Guided Canicross Trail Run Join us for an exciting couple of hours of canicross adventure at Therfield Heath in Royston! Canicross is a fun and active sport that involves running with your dog! This is a guided trail run is aimed at those who have run with us before, would like to run in a group and are able to run 10k distance. We will cover the distance and pace based on the group's ability but will run for approx an hour and a half. For those that haven't run with us yet, we would love you to join us, but you will need to have a had 1 to 1session with us as a minimum first. Please contact us and we would be happy to arrange a session, where we can make sure you have the equipment, knowledge and ability to canicross. A perfect way to end your day, exercise with your dog and save time too!! We would prefer you to have your own canicross equipment so we can get running as soon as possible and avoid delays. We will help you with the more technical skills of canicross and how to use these techniques with your dog effectively. You will have maximum fun and enjoyment on your running journey together. If you already canicross or have some experience running with the ability to run 5k, this course is perfect. There will be access to a private ‘improver canicross skill’ group where we will provide support, motivation and accountability for one another. Our friendly instructors will provide a weekly program with practical work, tips and advice along the way. We understand that you may already have your own canicross equipment and as long as it fits correctly, we are happy for you to use it. If unsure please check with us. Couch to Canicross - 8 week course Sunday 3rd November - 29th December 11am (exc 10th Nov) Join us for an exciting fitness course with you and your dog which builds week on week and where we will give you the best support and start to your canicross and running journey. Starting a structured program that will get you and your dog off the couch and out the house! Our aim is for you to enjoy the process of getting fit enough to canicross for 30 mins / 5k with your dog along with a group of likeminded people. There will be access to a private 'couch to canicross' group where we will provide support and motivation for one another. Our friendly instructors will provide a weekly program and homework, tips and advice along the way. All canicross equipment is provided on each session and this will enable everyone to run safely with their dog, hands free. Due to amazing feedback and unprecedented demand we are bringing the Rainbow Run - our family-friendly colour run back at a BRAND NEW VENUE! Get ready to experience a burst of colour and laughter as we come together for a day of fun and giving back to your local hospitals. This exciting event will take place on Sunday 22 June 2025 at Letchworth Rugby Club, SG6 2EN. As you make your way through the course, be prepared to be showered with a vibrant array of colours at our colour stations! But it's not just about the run - it's about making a difference. By participating in the Rainbow Run, you'll be supporting Lister Hospital, New QEII, Hertford County Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Together, we can make a positive impact in our hospitals. On the day you can expect an exciting event village with food stalls, ice cream, bouncy castles and merchandise. All runners will receive a race number where you can dedicate your run to someone; this could be in memory of a loved one, to one of our wonderful NHS staff members or a team at one of our hospitals. Everyone will also receive a medal when crossing the finish line! There will be a trophy awarded to the runner with the best rainbow inspired outfit so make sure you dress to impress - the bigger the better!
