Spooky Stop Motion - Two Day Workshop | 8th Chelmsford Scout Hall
Oct 28–Oct 29, 2024 (UTC+0)ENDED
Chelmsford
Our two day animation workshop will take on a spooky theme this October Half Term! Stop Motion Animation for 7 to 12 year olds, aims to give an introduction to the Stop Motion technique of creating an animated film. We use a software called 'Dragonframe', which was used to create films you may know such as 'Coraline' or 'Shawn the Sheep'. Stop Motion is where we capture many images to make things come to life, they may be characters you've designed or just everyday objects. You'll learn from a professional animator and work in small teams of a maximum, of 5 children per group. Children's animations will then be uploaded online for the rest of their family and friends to watch! Filmmaking is a great way to develop skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity, computing, and problem-solving! The main thing is it's so much fun and seeing your ideas on screen coming to life is amazing. This course is suitable for complete beginners and children who have some experience already in animation. Price: You can save the Eventbrite fee by paying Artimate directly, text, Vicky: 07596763060 and we'll send you the payment details and send you a receipt.
