You Make Our Events Special
A performer without an audience is like a tree that falls in the forest with no one to hear. In both cases, the essence of the experience—the sound of the falling tree or the energy of the performance—depends on the presence of witnesses.
Your Impact:
When you purchase a ticket or RSVP and show up to our event, you’re not just filling a seat—your presence gives our performers the energy and excitement that fuels their performance. But without a full and engaged audience, their efforts won’t shine as brightly.
Please RSVP only if you’re certain you can attend. Of course, we know that sometimes unexpected issues might prevent you from coming. If you realize you or your guest(s) can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible. This will allow us to give the open spot to someone else. There’s nothing more disappointing for us than turning people away because of a sold-out event only to find that we could have placed them. You get it, right? We know you do.
The Reward:
Your commitment to attending means a lot to Heights Arts, even more to those who are taking the stage, and most importantly to YOU. We have no doubt you will be inspired by our featured talent. When you attend, you will even get a little extra something as a thank you from us in celebration of our 25th anniversary.
Thanks for your understanding. We’ll see you soon!

Women's Circle & Reiki-Infused Sound Bath: Duality & Divinity | S’il Vous Play
May 21, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Cleveland Heights
Gemini Season is here and she's inviting us to be curious about our duality and the duality we see and feel in the world. While we often live in ways that support one view of ourselves and those around us, two things can be true... in fact, a mutlitude of things can be true. Tap into the curious and communicative energy of Gemini & reflect on all of the parts of you-- even those that you may have always felt contradicted one another.
As always, there are elements of the Divine with us in Circle, and so you'll be invited to welcome the energy of Light & Source to surround you and support you in your contemplations (if you feel comfortable/called to do so).
There will be quiet reflective time with journaling prompts & oracle cards, invitations for group sharing, & a restorative meditation & soundbath.
Words from Circle Attendees:
"The only ritual I always practice is attending Women’s Circles by Steph, of Little Scraps of Magic, LLC because these sacred nights truly align me. Despite practicing meditation for years, there was always some resistance within me preventing full surrender until I stepped into S’il Vous Play and into Steph’s magic. As someone who is always at women’s events and circles, I’ll recommend for every woman I know to drop into this particular circle at least once because something unexplainably transformational happens here especially. I have been to them all, and can vouch that here something touching happens. You can come with something very heavy and pour it into the circle to a safe space of understanding. You can sit down to be in stillness with yourself and amplify joy. You can sit in a circle just to be heard. We do this monthly. I can guarantee that this practice will strike some chord in you and will be transformational in some way - thinking, action or feeling."

What is a Women's Circle?
A Circle is a sacred space for women to intentionally gather & deepen connection to self & the collective.
Women’s Circles have been around since ancient times, and while modern day circles may have a different flow, you can still expect ritual & ceremony to be a part of the experience. They're kind of like a gentle blend of group therapy & meditation with a heavy emphasis on connecting to our sacred & divine feminine. There is thoughtful, facilitated discussion & sharing, as well as time to lay back & receive music or channeled messages coming through to lovingly support you.
This event is created for those who identify as women.
What Should I Bring?
Yourself, with an open mind & open heart.
Your favorite mug for tea & a water bottle.
A notebook & pen, yoga mat, blanket.
If you wish to dress in the spirit of your inner goddess, wonderful! If you want to come cozy in your pjs, equally as wonderful!
What Will Be Provided?
You will be welcomed by a simple, yet beautiful altar space with candles, aromatherapy sprays, & oracle cards. We will gather in circle around it. You’ll also be provided with a light cushion to sit on as well as hot water & a tea selection. I’ll have some extra blankets, yoga mats, notebooks, & pens incase you forget!

It can travel across time and space, so you don't even need to be in the same proximity as someone to receive it. I will send Reiki to everyone during the sound bath (this is considered distance Reiki since I will be directing to everyone in the room). All you have to do is set the intention to receive!

SAY GA(y)ME ! | Hexagon Books
Jun 28, 2025 (UTC-5)ENDED
Cleveland Heights
Join Madrigal Publishing and Hexagon Books in SAY GA(y)ME! An evening of playing Queer Lotería and a book reading from local author/publisher Luz Emma Cañas' memoir, Martial Love. Lotería is the Mexican game of chance. Similar to the game Bingo. Lotería was created in the 1800's with images and archetypes inspired by Mexican nationalism (at the time )and the tarot's major arcana. Some of the images have not aged well. But lucky for us, modern versions of the game have been created like Selena Lotería, Millenial Lotería and Queer Lotería. Apropos to play during PRIDE month! There will be merriment and prizes! After the game, Luz will read from their memoir, Martial Love and take audience member questions. HEXAGON BOOKS 2184 Lee Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 June 28th 6:30-8PM Art created for the book's cover, inspired by Lotería, will be on display. Martial Love has been described as: a triumph, beautiful, inspiring, powerful, and a must read! Martial Love can be found at Cleveland Heights Library :: Coventry Branch. There will also be a limited amount of books available for purchase. Martial Love synopsis: An all-women’s Ayahuasca ceremony serves as the setting for Luz’s story. As A Xamã administers the psychoactive plant syrup, she asks what brought Luz to this healing circle. The search for a simple answer sends the sputtering warrior on a psychic journey recollecting fragments of her past: A near-death experience as a toddler, navigating through a violent home as a child, and settling into domestic violence as a young mother. Now in the middle of her years, multiple traumas begin sprawling before her after the murder of O Marido, her estranged husband and master of Capoeira. He had no family, leaving Luz the only one who can identify the body; which prompts her return to Brazil from the United States placing her directly in front of the unraveling secrets of her dead husband. Although she lobbies for her husband to receive Islamic burial rites, the day of his funeral, Luz discovers he was buried in a public grave. If his remains are not soon transferred to a permanent plot, they will be cremated and scattered across a mass grave with countless others. From her understanding of Afro-Brazilian ancestor worship, an improper burial could lead to O Marido’s spiritual unrest. If his bones wound up in the wrong hands, the volatile energy of his material life could be used against her. To ensure peace for her, and her children, Luz decides to exhume the remains, knowing that this action of love, and survival, will signal a declaration of war to the powerful characters plotting to condemn her husband’s soul, and skill, to spiritual servitude. She must use her own teachings to take up arms and intercede between the living and the dead, convince her evermore suicidal children that life is a miracle worth staying alive for, and urge her husband to continue his ascension into the higher realms of consciousness until he fully crosses over. Luz’s story is about the belief in a compassionate God, a life after death, and the thin, silver lining between love and dark clouds. Hers is a mythological tale of a hero’s journey through the shadow and along the line of spirit and matter. Women's Circle & Reiki-Infused Sound Bath: Slowing Down with Your Senses | S’il Vous Play
Jul 16, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Cleveland Heights
As we continue to move through the glorious summer there's so much to love and celebrate. Lots of life, lots of plans, lots of connection, lots of trips, lots of activity... And with the energy of "lots and lots" can come this never-ending whir of doing. We begin to buzz along like motors, eventually burning out or perhaps just going through the motions.
To give some counterbalance to the vibrant energy of summer, I invite you to join me for an evening of slowing down, talking about, tapping into, and nurturing our senses. Feeling into what we can touch, smell, taste, see, and hear… and inviting those senses to help our nervous systems to relax and unwind so that we can come ino greater presence with ourselves and our lives.
There will be quiet reflective time with journaling prompts & oracle cards, invitations for group sharing, & a restorative meditation & sound bath.
- Olga
A water bottle
A notebook & pen, yoga mat, blanket (extras will be available if you forget!)
If you wish to dress in the spirit of your inner goddess, wonderful! If you want to come cozy in your pjs, equally as wonderful!
What Will Be Provided?
An altar space with candles, aromatherapy sprays, & oracle cards.
A light cushion to sit on
Extra blankets, yoga mats, notebooks, & pens will be available incase you forget!
What is the Flow?
6:20-6:30 arrive, get settled.
6:40 Doors LOCK
6:40- 7 Short grounding meditation, I'll offer gentle exercises and points of relfection around our theme for the evening, brief journaling time
7-7:50 Circle Sharing (you're invited, though not required to share what brought you to Circle or a reflection from your Oracle cards or something that resonates from the theme)
7:50-8 More journaling time
8-8:30 Sound Bath & Guided Meditation
What is Reiki Infused Sound Bath?
“Reiki” means “life force energy” or “Universal life energy”.
Reiki is a healing energy technique that was developed in Japan in the 1920s as a means to bring energetic balance to the body. The practice is based on the ancient premise that everything is energy. It can travel across time and space, so you don't even need to be in the same proximity as someone to receive it. I will send Reiki to everyone during the sound bath (this is considered distance Reiki since I will be directing to everyone in the room). All you have to do is set the intention to receive!
Cost
Tickets are $30 each
