Create a watercolor painting that reflects your true self. An intentional restorative gathering where we will dive deep into ourselves through meditation and painting. Through this process of self-exploration, you will create a watercolor painting that is connected to yourself - a reflection of your true being. We will create our designs based on the sacred geometry found in botanical plants and flowers, drawing inspiration from nature and its creations. Phyllicia will lead you through a guided breath and meditation followed by step by step how to use the paint and brush to create an artwork. And you will leave with a work of art you created from your soul. Watercolor can seem like a tricky medium to work with because of its fluidity and flow. In life, we are always trying to box things in, contain, and control. In watercolor painting, we are forced to let go of control, embrace and release stagnant energy, and change our perspective on what we perceive to be 'flaws.' We find beauty and a lesson in every mark, just as we find beauty and lessons in every moment of life. Our new Total Body Conditioning class is unlike anything you've experienced. It's designed to improve everyday movement, coordination, cognition, and overall strength. Ausar will guide participants through Function Movement Screening (FMS) to assess their level of competence in movement. The class will then move through a series of circuits and drills to increase body awareness, core stability, and functionality, enhance reaction time, increase bone density, and improve heart rate variability, and muscular health. It will be customized to your abilities and challenge you in a way where your body will respond to meet its full potential.
