In 2022, choreographer / photographer / filmmaker Tony Testa called on a diverse ensemble of 22 of LA's best dancers to explore the making of movement through images. Two years later, we celebrate this cinematic & photographic body of work with a premiere in Tony’s hometown of Fort Collins, CO. Together they have built a community called The Vinyl Heard. What started as a simple way to stay in touch and brag about recent garage sale scores has blossomed into an all encompassing community that is passionate about vinyl records and vintage gear. Today The Vinyl Heard hosts The Northern Colorado Record Show and recently welcomed Kevin an early member of The Heard as another partner in the project. We are on the cusp or our second show and hope to continue building community around vinyl in Northern Colorado and beyond. ABOUT GILDED GOAT Our Fort Collins brewhouse is the backbone of the our craft beer brewery, and no role is more important than that of the brewers. Charlie Hoxmeier leads the brewing team, often with the help of students from the Fermentation Science program at CSU, as well as interns from other degree programs from around Fort Collins. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Charlie earned a PhD in Microbiology and spent several years in public health studying the world's 'neglected diseases'. After a decade of homebrewing experience, he now runs the Fort Collins brewhouse and quality control lab dedicated to the art and science behind each pint of beer. It is this coming together of different craft beer regions and cultures that creates a uniquely local twist on styles. In our Fort Collins brewhouse it's about teamwork and problem solving and bringing ideas and experience together, all for the ultimate goal of bringing a recipe from our brewers' heads to a glass of beer.
