Nashville based gospel group, MidSouth, has been a staple on the Southern circuit for years. After several members left in 1984, the band's new recruits used their country influences to shift MidSouth's style. Since that time, Midsouth has been nominated by the Gospel Music Association for Country Album of the Year and received a Grammy nomination for Country Gospel Album of the Year. The Daaes are from Saskatchewan, and are a 4th generation family group, with tight harmonies and full live-band accompaniment.
