If you shoot with a semi-automatic you can get licensed to carry all three. Your pistol MUST be in good working order. Rental pistols are available from Lake Hellums range for a small fee.
*Ammo
: 50 rounds of factory loaded ammunition. Ammo is available from Lake Hellums Range.
*Ear Protection
(Electronic ear protection recommended, can be purchased from Lake Hellums Range). I recommend doubling up on ear protection due to using the indoor range. Recommendation is for foam ear plugs and ear muffs (electronic or otherwise).
*Eye Protection
*Baseball cap
(to keep hot brass from getting inside your glasses.)
*Photo ID
from the State of Oklahoma. You must have this in order to get your certificate that says you passed the class, or if stationed at Vance Air Force Base, a copy of your duty orders or your spouse's duty orders and your driver's license.
*Closed toe shoes, closed neck shirt, pants (no sandals).
*Hair Tie or hair clip if you have long hair.
For this class you will not need a holster. If you come with someone you may share a pistol. The shooting portion of the class evaluates your ability to safely load your gun and shoot your gun.
