Led by Eleah Peal, a highly skilled theatre education artist based in the capital region of NY, this workshop introduces participants to the language and methodology of Laban Movement Analysis, a powerful tool for describing and understanding different categories of movement. Through hands-on exploration, students will learn about the various types of Laban movement and how to apply them to bring their characters to life on stage. Eleah Jayne Peal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this workshop. As a graduate of SUNY Fredonia’s BFA program and a trained artist from the Moscow Art Theatre and Shakespeare & Co., Eleah has honed her skills in contemporary and classical styles of acting, movement, dance, and fight choreography.
