On Thursday, February 29, Néstor Daniel Pérez-Molière will be the featured artist at the "Meet the Artist" event. Pérez-Molière's ongoing work revolves around sparking meaningful conversations surrounding mental health. By creating a safe space for discussion, he delves into contemporary queer culture and homosocial relationships, shedding light on depression and shame. Pérez-Molière aims to destigmatize negative emotions, presenting them as a catalyst for political action rather than their opposing force. The event will be streamed live on CPW's YouTube page at 6 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore new artwork, learn about artistic processes, and connect with fellow artists.
