Since 2005, she has illustrated more than 50 picture books and has done numerous editorial illustrations for magazines and newspapers, all around the world. Her work has received recognition from American Illustration and the Society of Illustrators, to name a few. She was shortlisted four times for the Governor General’s Literary Awards. Her work, a unique mixture of collage, drawings, and digital art, takes us in a poetic, colorful and whimsical world. Description: Keeping a sketchbook and daily practices is important for an illustrator as it helps overcome creative blocks. In this workshop, let your logical brain unite with your emotional brain to create sketchbook experiments with Josée's unique way of illustrating -using collage, pastels, watercolor and more, to help you develop your style more deeply.
