Join the Colorado Brewery Running Series™ for the Ugly Sweater 5k, taking place at Left Hand Brewing Co. in Longmont on December 7, 2024. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fun, untimed run through the neighborhood, followed by a free craft brew from Left Hand Brewing Co. at the finish line. Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog, all levels of participants are welcome. As you cross the finish line, you'll also have the chance to win exciting door prizes from the Colorado Brewery Running Series and our event sponsors. Enjoy live music, indulge in delicious food from local vendors, and browse through the offerings of our partners and sponsors. Not only will you have a great time, but you'll also be making a difference in the local community. 10% of all proceeds will go directly to a local organization that will be on site promoting their work. What: This is a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk)! You choose which distance you want to complete! Love reading and also like being in the company of others?Looking for an event you can comfortably attend alone?Want to try a new kind of event?Never read a graphic novel or already a fan of comics?If you answered YES to any of these questions come and join us for our Graphic Novel Reading RoomGraphic Novel Reading Room is a monthly event at the Treehouse board game cafe, usually on the third Tuesday of the month. Whether you're a regular reader or you're planning to come for the first time, you are welcome in this calm and social reading space. Hundreds of graphic novels and zines will be provided for you to read, mostly of the literary kind in all kinds of genres: fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, horror, graphic medicine, manga etc. Every month there are new titles added to the collection so you can always find yourself something new and recommendations are provided, if requested. It's a casual event: all participants read their choice of comics and there is no group discussion as such. You're welcome to arrive and leave at your leisure, read just the one story or several, chat or seek silence and wear headphones while you're reading. Our host the Treehouse will be providing their amazing food, drinks and cakes, as usual. Tickets are set as 'donation' so you can pay what you can afford. Suggested donation is £2/hour in line with Treehouse board game cafe pricing.
