The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL) today announced that the New Orleans Pelicans will play two preseason games against NBL teams in Melbourne this October, marking the first NBA games in Australia. The Pelicans will play Melbourne United and South East Melbourne Phoenix in Melbourne Park on Friday Oct. 3 and Sunday Oct. 5, 2025, with the NBL serving as the official promoter and organizer of the Melbourne Series.

I went to the museum on a whim. The ticket purchasing experience was excellent, as you could use the tickets as you went, and the price was better than at the venue. The museum isn&#39;t large, but the exhibits are well-designed, with a great combination of audiovisual equipment. In the Aboriginal exhibition area, each exhibit has a text description, pictures, and videos showing how it&#39;s used and what it&#39;s like to experience life. These made it easier to understand the purpose of the exhibits and learn more about Aboriginal life. There were also various props for experiencing the exhibits. I happened to catch an insect dance activity when I went, and a large group of children were happily singing and dancing in the lobby on the first floor.

Lovely place to walk past on the way to the Melbourne museum. This time of the year, there&rsquo;s autumn leaves covering the walkways. There is even a small pond with some ducks in the corner. And right in front of the royal exhibition hall, there is a fountain where sometimes you will catch couples taking their wedding photos here.
