The 2025 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival is here. This year, the popular Japanese character "Gee Kawa" will be used as the theme to open the "Kaohsiung Wonderland Winter Amusement Park" Lantern Festival, which will be held at Love River Bay from January 25 to February 16 next year.
Kaohsiung City won the "Annual Excellence City Award" and once again won the "No. 1 Sustainable Happiness City". In 2025, "Gee Kawa" was specially invited to make a grand debut at Love River Bay. We hope that the content of the event will surpass this year's yellow duck and let everyone be amazed by the vitality of Kaohsiung's city again. Choosing "Gee Kawa" as the IP of the 2025 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival just interprets Kaohsiung City's efforts in the process of urban transformation and conveys a "micro-happy sense of life."

A relatively historically significant attraction that tells the history of Taiwan&#39;s secession. The consulate is on a hill and you need to climb stairs. The view from above is nice, and you can see Kaohsiung city and the sea. It is convenient to buy tickets on the platform, and there are sticky notes for free. The price is cheaper than buying tickets on site.

The Pier2 Art Center

Pier 2 Art Zone - formerly known as the Kaohsiung Port Warehouse, it was built in 1973. It used to store fish meal and sugar. With the transformation of the industry, it was forgotten and idle for a time. It was not until 2000 that the Kaohsiung City Government was looking for a location for the National Day fireworks display. Let these old warehouses come back to life and create new lives, witnessing the prosperity, decline, resurgence and transformation of Kaohsiung Port. From the past to the present, the Pier-2 Art Zone has been an indispensable warehouse complex for Kaohsiung people. In the past, goods were stored to supply the port, but now it has been transformed into a creative paradise for artists, gathering full of design and creative energy. In the past, there was the West Harbor Line railway carrying goods by the port, but now it is Kaohsiung&#39;s most popular waterfront light rail.
