Join us on Sunday December 15th, for The 2024 More Than a Game Wellness Workshop, a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to empowering female athletes in middle school through high school both on and off the field. Start the day with an inspiring keynote by Tommy Brown of One Heartbeat Warriors, who will discuss building mental toughness and resilience. Following the keynote, participants will engage in hands-on breakout sessions, including: Mind-Body Connection:An interactive session focused on muscle awareness and effective strength training exercises.Confidence Counts: covering confidence, self-talk, and managing nerves.Balance for Success:Stress management and injury prevention, emphasizing the importance of rest and recovery in athletic performance.Warrior Mindset: Building mental toughness. The day will conclude with Beyond the Game: Real Talk with College Athletes, a panel of college student-athletes sharing their personal stories and experiences with balancing academics, sports, and mental health. This open discussion provides invaluable insight into the journey of being a well-rounded student-athlete. The money raised from this event will be donated to a new 501(c)(3) organization, Rise Beyond the Game, which focuses on creating opportunities for female athletes through sport. Each attendee will receive a copy of 10 Qualities of a Warrior and a More Than a Game T-shirt. Join us to build mental and physical strength for success on and off the field!
