The Colorado USNA Alumni Association and the West Point Society of Denver cordially invite you to watch the 124th playing of the Army-Navy game on Saturday, December 14th, 2024. This year’s joint watch party will again be held at Stoney's Bar and Grill located at 1111 Lincoln St, Denver, CO 80203. Kickoff is at 1:00PM MST, and doors will open at 11:00AM. Be sure to arrive early as the bar fills up quickly. Donation Efforts for 2024: We are partnering with Operation Christmas Spirit to help local Veteran and Active-Duty Military families in need. Our goal is to raise $5,000. This should be able to help 4+ families with bills and gifts going into Christmas. Toys For Tots - In Person Donation Only! This year we are again partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program in an effort to bring some holiday cheer to less fortunate children in the greater Denver area. Game day donations of new unwrapped toys will qualify for a free draft Coors Light.
Thanks to generous donations from both alumni societies, Stoney's Bar and Grill, and the athletic departments of both academies, there will be door prizes given away throughout the game during breaks in the action. Everyone attending will be eligible to win. While there is no cost to attend the watch party, we’d like to ask that everyone register online so that we can better plan staffing and prizes. The State Government Plaza in Colorado, where Denver is located, is where you can visit the state government&#39;s golden-domed Capitol. Many state governments in the United States have areas open to tourists for free. You just need to go through security check at their specified time.

This Colorado State Government Capitol is the seat of the state legislature and the governor&#39;s office, and is also the office of the Senate and House of Representatives.

It is said that the golden roof of this capitol is made of pure gold to commemorate the gold rush in Colorado.

Walking in this state capitol, you can really feel that every step and every scene is particularly &quot;American&quot;, and you can see people or events related to Colorado&#39;s history wherever you look.

For a 24k pure tourist who is not so interested in American history, the magnificent European architectural style is the best for punching in. For tourists who just need to take a quick look, it usually takes 30-40 minutes to visit the three floors that can be visited, except for historical learning tourists.

I haven&#39;t been able to go abroad for a while, so I can only take out the photos I took before and look at them. I miss it a lot. We also bought a lot of things in this place, and its architecture is also very local.

Lots of great exhibits and the animals look well cared for.  I would love for more non zoo attractions and services.  More food stands for instance.
