The highly anticipated 2024 Deep Ellum CommUNITY Arts Fair is set to take place in Dallas from April 5th to April 7th. The Sixth Floor Museum is located in downtown Dallas. It was built to commemorate the assassination of former US President Kennedy. It is called the &quot;Sixth Floor&quot; because the three bullets of the killer Lee Haney Oswald were fired from the sixth floor of this building, which was once a textbook warehouse.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza

The monument is designed to be suspended from top to bottom and enclosed in four directions. There is only one piece of black marble on the floor of the monument, on which Kennedy&#39;s name is carved in gold. Philip Johnson, the designer of the monument, successfully conveyed his respect for the president: &quot;a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth.&quot;
